This is reply to a few messages you have sent along.
I personnaly do not support Kerry or Bush.....however
I do support
independent artists Re: the event Friday
Are you familiar on how to use the "open Publishing"
on the IMC site? This information can be posted on the newswire, an
administrator will move it to the local section, let me know, i'll post it
if you have difficulties doing so. Click the "PUBLISH" link  on
the left side - and fill in the blanks...

I was glad to see Norm wanting to participate that I
had set aside the content of the post.
Reality - as far as I know no one in Cleveland area
Indymedia support the democrats or republicans.

I feel if 3 collective members want it hidden as I recall that is
the number needed in process to hide an article - as you recall I was
pushing for all pro politician shit to be hidden...remember kucinich. So
yes I would hide all  Pro Kerry posts too. Again I must state I was
excited Norm (the author of the post) was getting involved and empowered
to use open publishing.

I HAVE TO SAY THAT the hiding and unhiding is
inappropriate behavior for this collective. I agree
that someone has been abusing their privilege as
administrator.
the collective member who continues to unhide without any post to the list
discussion is not acting in the spirit of indymedia collective.
I feel this should be added to next meetings agenda as
discussion on how to handle collective members actions such as this.
I would  think the administrator who is responsible for hiding it would
state reasons why.

I was so glad to see your participation in the discussion, keep up the
communication, as Chrystine stated  at least  3 meetings must be attended 
in order to participate in  process....

Proposed:
So in closing Elle, A, And Jesse have, as abled collective members, state
for the upcoming election Pro Kerry/Bush posts would be hidden.

Several list members also  put in words of agreement/support for the above
proposal.



can we come to a conclusion?

I then suggest this conflict of administrator privilege abuse should be
then moved offlist and onto agenda for our general meeting.
