hey everybody,

some of you may have heard me mention C-space before, a group of dedicated
activists and i have been working to establish a grassroots organizing and
social center in cleveland. well we will likely be inking our names very
soon to a lease for a little storefront on the southwest side of town.

the idea is to create a multi-use space that is open to the community and
example of what is possible when people work together. C-space will likely
be a good venue for IMC events, trainings, meetings and are looking to
provide office space and resources to groups like IMC.

we are also wrapping up a fundraising raffle in order raise some cash to
match an offer of a grant for $2500.  we have less than a week to go and
we are almost at our goal but we still need a little bit of help. there
are three cash prizes so if you win - you can buy a really big box of fair
trade chocolate for your sweetheart. the raffle drawing is this sunday
night so let me know if you want to cash in and i will find a way of
getting them to you.

C-Space Community Center Raffle

C-Space, Cleveland's future community center for grassroots arts,
educational and political and social programming is opening soon, and
we're asking for your help!  In order to obtain a $2,500 challenge grant,
we are holding a fundraising raffle.  The more money we raise now, the
more we can concentrate on setting up quality programming and doing
outreach once the space is open.  Here's the breakdown:

The Prizes:
1st prize - $500
2nd prize - $100
3rd prize - $50

The Tickets:
These attractive tickets are selling for $3 each.  But wait -- if you buy
5 tickets, we'll knock a dollar off EACH ticket -- for a total of $10!

The drawing is on February 12th at our weekly planning meeting.  We will
notify the winners that very night, by phone, email or whatever.
