I put Carol Fisher's statement up as a Feature in the 'actions' 
category where nobody ever goes so it would get automatically 
syndicated to US and Global.  I didn't think it needed a whole new 
feature on the main page, I just added a new link there - that would 
not have shown up fresh on the syndication at all.

This story has been picked up by Daily Kos where there are hundreds of 
comments and lots of other sites and the public response is important 
to Carol's welfare.
