[Imc-climate-organising] PROPOSAL: localisation and IRC

sorry for so many emails, I'm just in the mood to get something
happening with CIMC. two proposals:

1. what's out IRC channel? I'm idling in (and promoting in my email sig)
  #climateimc, but I'm also idling in #climate. what do people prefer?

2. categorical geographic localisation - could we make a vocabulary
called "geography", so that each story, image, and event has on or more
 geographies linked to it? suggested geographies below

GEOGRAPHIES:
- -global
- ---oceania
- -----australia
- ---europe
- -----UK
- ---north america
- -----USA
- ---south america
- ---asia
- ---africa
- ---polar

I chose these geographies because they are the most commonly talked
about geographies. also because I think we already have regular
contributors from each of the three countries listed. if I've missed
any, we can include them. we can also add new ones at any time.

I'm gonna leave this open until friday, then act on it if there's no
dissent..
