Very true, I have presumed a lot by saying that there aren't many folk
around .. they seem to be coming out of the woodwork.

Yes, I have been very very negative over my views, mainly as I haven't
been able to find any other Indy techs (except 1) in Australia, nothing
like having a couple of people with all the workload. Most of the folk I
have met with 'Plone experience' have only had TTW experience, not
filesystem products or the like.
I have been coming from a development point of view, from producing and
maintaining code and migrations. I agree, maintaining a Plone site is a
pleasure. Extending it is a lot less of a pain than doing so with a PHP
system.

I'm in! I would really like to help out, and keep in touch, we too are
in the process of putting an ATVideo site live this weekend (engage
branch fyi, tho there's a lot of code not yet in the Plone.org svn, but
soon will be). Obviously there's a lot that we can mutually provide each
other. I have also started on redoing the old Active code, active.org.au
(with stuff like customised PloneMiniSites). You probably have most of
the code that I would be doing myself already done by the sounds of it.
this has made my day :) I will definitely get in touch qwerty, just low
on time this week pushing out a stable of dev.engagemedia.org
