Hola. Hace poco conocí a Virginia Giannoni, una artista de Buenos Aires 
que
hizo una exposición con las fotos y los textos que los familiares de los
desaparecidos de Argentina publican en el diario alli. Es una muestra
impresionante! Esta siendo exhibida en San Diego hasta el 28 de mayo y 
luego
hay planes de ir a Tijuana y a Toronto. Ya estuvo en Medellín, Colombia.

Les escribo porque estamos buscando diferentes vías para exponerla. 
Virginia
realmente quiere llevar la exhibición a lugares más accesibles para 
"gente
común" y a los involucrados en movimientos sociales, pero su contacto 
actual
está trabajando a niveles más bien de donde se mueve el arte 
tradicional.

Conocen ustedes un lugar donde se pueda exponer una exposición 
impresionante
sobre la historia de la lucha en la Argentina? Si es así, por favor
maileenme a mí o a kuatro at ciudad.com.ar. Específicamente estamos 
buscando
ayuda para llevar la muestra a Ciudad Juárez, ya que el material es
particularmente relevante por las luchas que se llevan allí. Quizás
inclusive podemos generar algún feedback con la misma gente de allí.

Virginia también está disponible para hacer las aperturas de los 
eventos por
video conferencia, desde Buenos Aires. Tiene el equipo para hacerlo.

Hello. I recently met Virginia Ginannoni. She's an artist from Buenos 
Aires who's made a photo exhibit about the 30,000 disappeared in 
Argentina. Its an awesome exhibit. It was shown here in San Diego and 
in Medellin, Colombia, and is moving on to Tijuana, Toronto and Paris.

I'm emailing you because we're looking for more and different venues. 
Virginia really wants to take the exhibit to places that are more 
accessible to regular people and to people working in social movements, 
but her current US contact is mostly taking it to traditional art 
spaces.

Do you know of or work at a space that could display an amazing exhibit 
about the history of the struggle of Argentina? If so, please email me 
or kuatro at ciudad.com.ar . We're specifically looking for help to take 
the exhibit to Ciudad Juarez, as the content of the exhibit is 
particularly relevant for the struggles going on there.

Virginia is also available to do video conferencing talks at the 
openings of the events, as she has the equipment necessary to do so.
