Hello friends,
John and Jay,

I'd like to thank you for ackowledging both "the dark side" as John puts
it, and also the healing and learning potential for our network which
exists within the recognition and processing of those events.

I would add that, even though over the years there have been imc locals
which ripped themselves apart and inside out, our locals are still the
realm where most of the grace and strength of indymedia reside. Our
global entities, however, are an endless story of misery, dysfunction,
and are almost textbook examples of pathological abstention from and
blockage of democracy.

I'd love to see more efforts such as the ones you mention (indymedia
self- reflection in order to learn and heal our network) aimed at the
global level of our entities.

Thanks again,
Petros
