It has been my understanding that imc-communication is for general
communication on any issue concerning indymedia, for anyone who wants to
contribute. It has so far not been a liaison list, contrary to
imc-process which, in theory, is meant to be a list for people who act
as liaison for their local or working group and who should only send
e-mails who represent the respective group's opinion. And has to be
bilingual. (And needs some debate about list purpose and policy, because
virtually nothing is happening there which makes me think that it should
be moderated a bit less strictly)
Imc-communication so far was much less formal, to give space for any
kind of debate between people on the international level. I'm saying
this as one long-term list admin who at the same time is no liaison for
any group.
