hi,

i'd prefer if communication on this type of spam didn't happen on imc
lists anymore. for imc-communication and all other lists i administrate
i discarded that message from the list of requests, as the email in
question had to be processed manually. most lists don't automatically
accept emails sent to more than 5 or so addresses, and so i assume this
type of email doesn't reach most lists anyway. it would be nice if other
list admins just discarded them, too. it *is* possible to discard, or
reject, and inform the sender why we don't want this kind of mass emails.

i thought this is NOT an imc communication issue, and i don't see why we
should discuss this now. also i don't really understand why people who
respond to this email saying that in fact it is spam send that reply to
all dozens of lists the original email was sent to. to me that's pretty
much the same kind of spam.

if you personally feel the urge to educate the sender, please do so, but
don't cc it to the lists, please.

one of this list's admins
