[en] No matter how much people from Portland, or the global South
criticize the handling of money within UCIMC, it is not helping to
bring about a resolution.

No matter how much people from UCIMC repeat their point of view that
the best system is one which values autonomy in this matter, they are
not going to change the mind of those who are not in support.

Real compromises, real listening, real dialogue is possible, when both
parties acknowledge that the current state of affairs will lead
nowhere.  I would be happy to help facilitate such a dialogue, or (as
I am not neutral in this and oppose payments) to see others doing so.
But now we appear like children who convinced that their perspective
is right, want to keep repeating it even when it is having no effect.

We are trying to promote alternatives for the way the world decides
things?  This decision is nowhere near as complicated, painful or deep
as others on this planet, and we are setting a horrible example.  I
hope we can do better.

critican el tema del dinero dentro de UCIMC.  No está ayudando a traer
una resolución.

No importa cómo mucha la gente de UCIMC repite su punto de vista que
el mejor sistema es uno que valora la autonomía en esta materia. No va
cambiar las mentes de los que no apoyen.

Los compromisos verdaderos, escuchar verdadero, diálogo verdadero son
posibles, cuando ambas lados reconocen que este proceso está en un
callejón sin salida. Me placería ayudar a facilitar tal diálogo, o
(que no soy neutral en esto y opongo pagos) para ver otros hacerlo.

Pero ahora aparecemos como los niños se convencen que de que su
perspectiva está correcta, y desea seguir en la repetición cuando está
sin efecto. ¿Estamos intentando promover los alternativas para las
maneras que el mundo puede utilizar para decidir cosas? Esta decisión
está tantos menos complicados, dolorosos y profundos que muchas otras
en este planeta, y estamos demostrando un ejemplo horrible. Espero que
poder hacer mejor.
