[Imc-communication] [IMC-Process] PROPOSAL Darwin/Arafura and new-imc

Hi,

I just received a copy of a letter sent by the imc-cyprus liaison to 
imc-process regarding the ongoing conflict around Darwin, and our 
efforts to reduce tension.

The letter is in relation to a discusssion on imc-process initiated by a 
statement by the new-imc group, and in response to a new position by our 
colleagues in imc-paris.

The letter below from imc-cyprus is still in the imc-process moderators' 
mailbox, and we expect it will be released soon when the moderators have 
a chance to take care of it.

Additionally, the deadline for this discussion on imc-process has been 
extended by mutual agreement to October 18, 2006 20:30 UTC. The 
announcement for that on imc-process is also pending - we hope that wehn 
it is released it will alleviate some of the time pressure on the 
parties who requested it.

Συμφωνούμε με το imc-paris.

Επιπλέον:
- επιμένουμε ότι κάθε εξωτερική παρέμβαση στις
υποθέσεις του ίντυ στο Darwin πρέπει να σταματήσει,
- υποστηρίζουμε όλες τις προσπάθειες γιά συμφιλίωση,
αλληλο-υποστήριξη και συνεργασία με τους συνάδελφους
στο Darwin,
- πιστεύουμε ότι η ομάδα εργασίας "new-imc" κατέχει
αρκετή ενημέρωση, γνώση, καλές οδηγίες και έχει καλό
ιστορικό έργου μέχρι τώρα, που το καθιστούν ικανό να
φέρει εις πέρας τις διαδικασίες με τους συνάδελφους
στο Darwin. Πρέπει να αφεθεί να εργαστεί χωρίς
παρεμβάσεις.

We agree with imc-paris.

Additionally:
- we insist that all interference by outsiders with
indymedia activities in Darwin must stop;
- we support all efforts for reconciliation, mutual
aid and co-operation with our colleagues in Darwin;
- we believe the "new-imc" work group has enough
information, knowledge, good guidelines and a good
history of work so far, that it is able to complete
its procedures with our colleagues in Darwin. It must
be allowed to do this work without interference.
