I think our exclusive use of English here is very oppressive.  It is
so English-centric, that even the folks from Spanish and Portuguese
speaking countries on this thread have not even bothered to write in
their own languages.  How can we expect to have any intelligent
discussion on a topic about which there are clear disagreements
between the North and South Americas exclusively in English?

Creo que nuestro uso exclusivo del inglés aquí es muy opresivo.  Es
tan Inglés-céntrico aquí que los imcistas de América latina no están
escribiendo en sus propias idiomas, pero solamente Ingles.  ¿Cómo
podemos esperar tener discusión inteligente sobre un asunto con
desacuerdos claros entre las Américas del norte y del sur
exclusivamente en inglés?

Acho que nosso uso exclusivo do inglês aqui é muito opressivo.  É
assim limitado ao inglês aqui que os imcistas de América Latin não
estão escrevendo em suas próprias línguas, mas só Ingles.  Como
podemos nós esperar ter alguma discussão inteligente em um tópico com
muitos diferences da opinião entre os Americas nortes e sul
exclusivamente em inglês?
