[Imc-communication] about the proposal to purge Darwin-imc

Friends,

An update on the imc-melbourne proposal to purge imc-darwin.

The liaison from cyprus-imc to imc-process is named Solon Antartis. 
Solon has just informed us that about an hour ago he sent an email to 
imc-process with the formal position of imc-cyprus on the situation.

He received an automatic response saying it is being held by the 
moderator. I feel a little mistustful about this (issues of control have 
been a constant part of this conflict and we have seen some incredible 
things happen) - I'm concerned enough to want to share it with you.

The cyprus-imc has sent our Collective's statement well in time, several 
hours before the deadline expires, and I don't think anyone would want 
it floating in some moderator's mailbox instead of being shared with our 
network.

Our liaison has also sent one copy to imc-cyprus, and just a while ago 
another one to the imc-eastern-mediterranean list. I want to make sure 
that the wider network is aware that the statement from the Cyprus group 
has been mailed in time.

The statement itself

Our group felt a great discomfort with the absence of discussion on this 
subject.

We made the only decision possible to prevent further escalation of 
hostilities and spoke in favour of building reconciliation and 
alternative solutions.
