In a inoffical meeting this weekend the main part of Indymedia ANtwerp
decide to block this proprosal.
With the following reasons:
1) the decission time of 14 day is to litle, specialy in a summer
(holiday etc) month.
2) there is no discussion before in the communication group
3) Most important there is no argumentation why 1 person behaviour
schould be the responsibility of a IMC. Whe also don't believe in
censorschip or banning to remove 'bad speak' about us or someone else.
As remark with the same argument all the 5 Belgian IMC could also be
purge, each one support someone who don't loves the others, some even
verry agresive. Simmilar relations are in a lot of others.
4) Indymedia is based on agreement not on a form of democratic
decissionmaking, maybe whe schould purge IMC who doesn't works like that
and where its looks like they are take over others cities than their own.
for the Indymedia Antwerpen collective,
greetings,
