Hey everyone,

I'm here on behalf of IMC London, Ontario -- in Canada
(http://londonontario.indymedia.org/). 
We're on the cities list now, although the link isn't working (a problem
I'll deal with).

Last summer I started connecting with Indymedia during a research
project for a university course. 
Then, toward the end of the summer I decided to start organizing a local
IMC with others around here.  (I made this decision just after a
discussion at a local offshoot of the World Social Forum.)

If I had realized how difficult it would be--and still is--to work
toward a true IMC collective, I probably wouldn't have tried to do
this.  Yet, I'm glad that this struggle has become a part of my life. 
I've grown a lot, and I think that the IMC organizing has contributed to
re-energizing local activism around here.

I hope that London, Ontario can help to sustain and extend the Indymedia
movement.
