i was on the phone to steph and tosh? a half hour ago
they seemed pretty shook, thankfully there was noone hurt, still though its bound to unsettle people. hope your ok out there and get a good nights rest....

steph said the radio show would be happening without macharia, but gave the impression that it was still going ahead

tosh? said that the show would not be happening as all tek support is too unreliable, including the connection from the wsf, which was what they hoped to work off or squat...

the ::plan B:: if this scenario happened was that 3 6 min interviews would be uploaded along with 2 5 min music pieces and we would replay them here during the show on wednesday, they might still source these interviews or else we will hunt through uploaded material and edit for 6 mins piece on topic of housing

audio has been uploaded, im trying to source that and have it playing later here in barcelona - they are using the ftp://babel.serve.com/ system

i was also onto macharia today and did a 6 minute interview over the phone with him, yes very basic but it gets the story across - he feels frustrated that that the people of kibera have been waiting and not yet gotten proper hearing, i couldnt hear the file, ill upload later

barcalona is ready for wednesday, we have the 3 speakers and the tek stuff is ready, we are behind in flyers but imc-bcn has a feature up about the event

dublin is coming together, near fm have said they might be able to stream live and that they will rebraodcast the show later, happy that local issues are being covered: sheriff st and inner city housing issues.
