[Imc-communication] PROPOSAL: Meeting for IMC communication in Balkans

Hi balkan IMCistas,

in both personal meetings and mailing lists, people have pointed out 
that there is very few communication among the Indymedias that exist in 
the area of Balkans and share common borders. There have been several 
efforts to have some communication between us, but you may agree that we 
still need to do things about it.

So, we would propose to try to establish a communication network between 
the Indymedias in the Balkans area, possibly including Athens, Belgrade, 
Bulgaria, Istanbul, Romania etc.
Some ideas also are:

(a) to have a meeting in the IRC, soon. We can contact via e-mail and 
set up an agenda for the meeting in the docs wiki. There is always the 
prospect for a physical meeting in the future.

(b) to improve communication, by agreeing the IRC meeting to take place 
regularly, and also by creating possibly a mailing list, a chat channel 
and having a list with the current issues in the docs.wiki .

(c) to improve the information flow between the nearby indymdias. This 
means to keep in contact for important news and events taking place, so 
that we all know about them and publish them, by doing the essential 
translations.

(d) We can also check several useful electronic tools, such as a balkan 
internal site with news aggregators and automatic translation.
