For the last six years I have been editor at SF-IMC.  I've been active in
anarchist, anti-war, anti-nuke, environmental, and anti-capitalist
politics for almost forty years. In addition to my regular work at SF-IMC,
I also volunteer at Bound Together Books. Perhaps some of you have heard
of, or even attended, our annual anarchist book fair.

Despite it's many faults and problems, particularly with some of the
English language sites, I feel the Indymedia is a worthwhile project that,
with sufficient attention to fact checking, could someday provide a real
alternative to CNN, Globo, DW, BBC, etc. I'd like to subscribe to this
list to participate in discussions about how we can improve Indymedia on a
global scale. It can be done. It's not too late. We're really just getting
started.
