[Imc-communication] dropping knowledge

Hi,
just read through the comments here and checked the dropping-knowledge
website, especially:
http://www.droppingknowledge.org/bin/teamMembers/list.page.
I see that Alianz Munich is their sponsor and this clearly reminds me
of the fact that money may (eventually will?) corrupt people's spirit.
Therefore I see the need to be aware of that fact and keep this in mind.
 
And from my point of view, the reactions on this list against this
project are stronger than I expected them to be. When I check some of
the names and their stories on the Team Member - Page of Dropping
Knowledge, then I must say that I very much appreciate the energy
these people are putting into that project and they seem to be quite
committed.
It seems to me, that most (all?) of them do this as volunteers with
high personal motivation. And this is where I see one of the
connections with the Indymedia Network.

There is no black and white  (meaning good guys and bad guys) in this
world there are aspects of it in every single one of us.

Concerning the cooperation during the G8, please don't let us be too
judgemental beforehand and let's see what kind of activists and human
beings these people are in the real world, face to face.
E.g. when discussing things like when and how to blurr people's faces...

Speaking for myself I am very much looking forward meeting them,
getting to know more about them, their project and ideas and working
with them in whatever way...
