Altough English isn't my native language, I think that the word
"suggestion" is more accurate here than "proposal."

"what we could do instead to make it work again" implies for me that
you, alas, agree with me that it's currently not or malfunctioning.

I thought that lists are always frozen, graveyarded but you can still
look at the archives and reopen them if there is a need for it? Maybe
someone from listwork can clarify on that. I don't know how the site
itself (translations.indymedia) is now technically setup, Linksrhein
for example could enlighten us whether it's possible to do what you
suggest.

Those are probably some important reasons why it's sleeping/dead. There
have been several efforts to relaunch it, seeking extra/new people etc.
But not successful enough, according to me.

Je pensait que quand les listes sont fermées, qu'leurs archives sont
encore toujours accessible et que c'est façile de les reouvrir?? Sur le
site web lui même j'en sais rien, faut démander Linksrhein?

Ces 2 raisons sont probablement la meilleure explication pourquoi le
projet est dormant/mort..... Il y avait plusieurs efforts de rédemarrer
le projet... mais apperement pas trop de succes.
