I'd like to add my voice to this. I applaud and embrace Shayne's
proposal to honour the request by Mick Lambe. When indymedia editors and
moderators become aware of material that is defamatory, libellous and
clearly aimed at character assasination, we have a responsibility to
remove it from our pages.
To whoever has technical and/or administrative access to do so, please
act on this request; it will help to bring some peace and closure.
I feel that the character assasination campaign against Mick Lambe
within our pages has gone on for much too long and by now the only thing
it illustrates is our own - indymedia's - inability to grasp right from
wrong. Let's take another step toward reconsiliation and for building
new bridges of friendship.
Thanks,
