hi,

I'm with Boston Imc and have been with Indymedia for the past 3 or 4 years. Currently our biggest hurdle is that our web site is not fully functional. Our video, audio, comments and other press are down. We've been trying to switch to drupal (or mir) for the past 3 years but haven't been able to find techs with the time to help us. 

Our local Imc has also gone through an interesting transition. We are effectively, the 2nd (or 3rd) generation of a local group. All our old members have moved on, many to do media of their own including a syndicated radio show, editor of a community newspaper, the founder of aliveinbaghdad.org, a freelance videographer and photographer, and currently an online news group openmediaboston.org, which is kind of our competitor but not really because they have a staff structure and want to move towards a for-profit news org.
