Hello,

  Just a heads up concerning tech consultas: there was a proposal for a 
imc-us tech retreat made in July 2007, after the meeting at the US 
Social Forum.

The listserve was never used, the original location was cancelled, and 
there was no agreement on if it would be a retreat for techies or a 
skillshare for all or both. That said, it was a good start and I think 
something to work off of. Notably, it emphasized building tech skills 
for women and people of color.

I haven't been so active in imc lately, so if someone wants to pick up 
the pieces and keep it going, please do!

El listserve nunca fue utilizado, la localización original fue 
cancelada, y no había acuerdo prendido si sería un refugio para los 
techies o un skillshare para todos o los dos. Ese haber dicho, era un 
buen comienzo y pienso algo trabajar apagado de. Notablemente, acentuó 
las habilidades de la tecnología del edificio para las mujeres y la 
persona de color. Yo no he sido tan activo en imc hace últimamente, así 
que si alguien quiere coger los pedazos y guardarlos el ir, por favor!
