/At present indymedia.dk is moderated only by our media collective
”autonom info-service”. We write most of the features, take care of
updating and renewals and try to inspire new people to write to
indymedia regulary.
We have been an active part of indymedia.dk since shortly after it
started. The users of indymedia.dk are groups of migrants and refugees,
climate activists, youth house activists, former squatters, activists
from the anti-imperialist federation “Internationalt Forum” – and others.

PS.

Our indymedia group has been larger, but most of the former activists
were only sporadically active. We have an IMC communication structure,
which we use to make all indymedia activities transperant for the
activists. But during the last months there has hardly been any response
to our suggestions. During September we are going to reorganize it.
At present Yossarian from indymedia London is our technical assistance
and contact person. He helps us in technical issues for an interim period.

Indymedia.dk wird zur Zeit NUR von unseren Medienkollektiv ”autonom
info-service” moderiert. Wir schreiben die meisten Features, sorgen für
Erneuerung und versuchen regelmässig neue Korrespondenten sowie
AktivistInnen zu inspirieren, für indymedia zu schreiben. Wir sind
bereits seit unmittelbar nach der Gründung von indymedia.dk. dabei.
Indymedia wird benutzt von Asylgruppen, von AktivistInnen aus der
klimapolitischen Szene, UngdomshusaktivistInnen, ehemaligen
BesetzerInnen (wie das Hauskollektiv ”Bumzen”), einer undogmatischen
antiimperialistischen Föderation ”Internationalt Forum” – und andere.

Unsere indymedia-gruppe war zwar früher grösser, aber die meisten der
ehemaligen AktivistInnen waren nur in geringen Umfang und sehr
unregelmässig an indymedia.dk engagiert. Wir haben eine
IMC-kommunikationsstruktur, die wir benützen um sämtliche Aktivitäten
transparent zu machen, fast ohne Resonnanz von den ehemaligen
indy-TeilnehmerInnen. Das werden wir im laufe des Septembers
reorganisieren, bzw. neuordnen.
Zur Zeit ist Yossarian – einen Techniker von indymedia-London, unser
technischer Kontakt  und assistiert uns technisch für eine Übergangsperiode.

For at least four years we have worked /continuously/ with expanding and
improving indymedia.dk.

One of the main problems of the Danish social and political antagonist
movements is, that reflections are seldom written down and the movements
are mostly pragmatic orientated at pure action. Another problem is the
widespread fluctuation among the leftwing networks and movements. ( Much
more typical in DK than in most other countries). You rarely meet
activists older than 25 years.
Besides, there exists a well functioning and informative leftwing
website called “modkraft.dk”. But they have a traditional editorial
board, staff and structures. Many activists use this information site
without involving themselves actively.

Wir arbeiten seit ungefähr vier Jahren /kontinuierlich/ mit den Ausbau
von indymedia.dk .
Das objektive Problem der dänischen sozialen und politischen
antagonistischen Bewegungen ist, das in der Regel nicht viel schriftlich
reflektiert wird und  diese aktionistisch konzipiert sind. Dazu kommt
eine in der Regel häufige Fluktuation innerhalb der respektiven
Bewegungszusammenhänge (Viel ausgeprägter, als in den meisten anderen
Ländern). Es gibt z.B. fast keine AktivistInnen, die älter als 25 Jahre
sind.
Zudem gibt es ein sehr gut funktionierendes, wohlinformierendes linkes
info-portal ”modkraft.dk”. Allerdings mit einer festen Redaktion und
eher traditionellen Strukturen. Viele AktivistInnen benützen diese als
Informationsquelle ohne sich aber selbst aktiv einzubringen.

It is our aim to develop indymedia.dk as a forum for activists, made by
activists and to expand the group of indymedia activists. After summer
we will establish a praxis of monthly activist meetings for all
indymedia activists and wannabees. We will make indymedia.dk a profile
in Facebook and Myspace to expand the number of activists and
sympathizers. We will built a network of contact persons to different
social and political movements, initiatives, committees etc.

*- Global:*

During the climate political topmeeting – COP15 – in December 09
indymedia.dk will play an important role as a forum for mutual
information and experience sharing among activists from different
structures. At that time we have established a multi-lingual site. It is
our aim quickly to integrate indymedia.dk in the *international
indymedia.org*.

We try to moderate as little as possible. When we receive party
propaganda or copied articles we write a comment explainig why it does
not fit into the indymedia concept and refer to the IMC-media context.
In case of repeating we delete the party propaganda/ copied stuff. If
some activists disagree we discuss the matter in our indymedia
communication structure ( which is in-active at the present) until we
have reached a common attitude.

Wir versuchen so wenig als möglich zu moderieren. Im Falle von
Parteipropaganda oder hineinkopierten Artikeln kommentieren wir beim
ersten Anlauf die Unzulässigkeit für das Indymedia-konzept und verweisen
auf  den IMC-Medienkontekst. Bei Wiederholung löschen wir den Text. Im
Falle von interner Unübereinstimmung diskutieren wir es innerhalb der
IMC-struktur (die momentan inaktiv ist), bis zu einer Übereinstimmung
der Vorgehensweise.
