IMC Brasil translated the uk feature about it and we publish it on our
site. I think it would be good to send the uk feature to www-features so
it is also on the global indymedia website, to increase the solidarity
with uk etc.
> Hi, imc-communication
> The police has seized an indymedia server in the UK (again). Amongst other
> sites, it hosted docs.indymedia.org. People are working to recover it.
> Meanwhile, Imc uk people are using crabgrass. The other affected sites are back
> The seizure occured in connection with an ongoing investigation. The police
> required via email to imc uk that personal details of the judge who sentenced
> activists from the campaign Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty on the 21st be
> removed from the site; and that data about the person who posted these details
> be retained.
> The details has already been removed, as imc uk does not encourage people to
> publish personal details of third parties. And IP adresses are not logged. The
> server was seized anyway.
> At present, it is unknown when and if the server will be given back.
