[Imc-communication] Intro

[Mr. Demeanour]

Hi,

I'm MrDemeanour, a member of the mayday collective, from the UK. I've 
been involved in Indymedia since about 2003; I'm, also a member of the
imc-oxford collective.

The mayday collective are applying through new-imc to become a
properly-constituted IMC. We currently administer the UK newswire and
features. Following the meeting in Bradford in December, it has been
decided by the UK Network that no collective may call itself "UK" or use
UK in its name, as of May 1 2011 (or earlier, if this business can be
concluded sooner).

I would like to join this list so that we can hear and respond to any
questions that anyone wants to raise about us and our organisation and work.

I tried to apply in December, but it seems I failed to supply the
required introduction, and my application was duly rejected. Sorry about
that!
