[Imc-ct] UCT orientation week

Hi all

The people organising UCT orientation week (i.e. the
SRC) have just contacted me regarding our application
for a table on the plaza during next Mon and Tue.
Because there is such a high demand for space they
would charge us R850.00 for that! Also, because they
are really not very well organised, they can't offer
us a venue for screening "No House, No Vote".

I think this is a complete rip-off! Sounds like they
don't really want us there... I suggest we ask them if
it would be ok for us to simply hand out newsletters
on the plaza during Mon and Tue without having a table
(and if they say no, we'll do it anyway). That way we
could still try to engage and possibly "recruit"
people.
