Hi again,

Thanks for the responses to the roll call and any new subscriptions to
this list. For your information, this list's purpose is to create an
indymedia website for wales. I am helping from London trying to be a
liaison with imc uk or imc global, whichever you prefer to deal with.

I have sent the documentation necessary to start the process with imc
global. Not much enthusiasm there, so here is the documentation to join
IMC UK. The documentation process of the political stuff gets mainly
scrapped because it is taken for granted that we will meet during the
process and talk face to face. The network meeting would be a good
occasion for this - there is already one person at least on the process
list, where the preparation for the meeting including dates and location
are discussed, and you can subscribe to that list yourselves if you want.

So the political process is not so much developed so you roughly pass
directly to the technical development. The techie person does not need
to be very techie, is more just a liaison between the tech team of indy
uk and this group. Main communication channel is irc and/or the
imc-uk-tech list.

Now, the documentation that has been prepared for groups like yours to
get involved in the indymedia uk website with a sub site, is here ... i
am told that some pages may be more up-to-date than others. It would be
superb if you could amend errors as you go alone - but always ask,
either on lists or irc.
