Again...
I have just been told that ... the pages I referred to here might as
well have been written in another language! :o(
Which is indeed true. I read them after I sent them here and realised
how scary they must be.
As to what to do next, I must admit that you really are a lot better off
if you have a computer with a GNU/linux operating system running on it;
you just fire the shell and start making the orders explained there.
MacOS also has a shell so it might be easy too.
So if anyone on this list has a techie mind and wants to start
preparing, please shout. Otherwise you will need to depend on some body
else to do it for you, which is not common practice ...
It needn't be as bad as it looks like, however. I remember when we did
the templates for London, we just copy/pasted the whole structure from
the Oxford pages, and I think I remember almost every one did that.
Is there any progress being made 'recruiting' more people? It would be
great. It might be a possibility to explore LUGs (Linux User Groups) ...
