[Imc-cymru] Indymedia network meeting

Hi

Members of the indymedia united kollective come together from time to 
time for a face-to-face meeting.  The next one is likely to be in Leeds 
in November (see below).  If we're going to go ahead with a Wales site 
within indymedia uk, then at least one of us should go along to this 
meeting.  Suggested dates are: 4-5; 11-12; 18-19; 25-26 November.  I 
could probably manage the 4th or 25th, possibly the 18th, definitely not 
11th.  How about other people? 

There will be an irc (internet chat) meeting next Tuesday 26th September 
at 8pm.  We need to feed back to imc-uk before or at this meeting.  If 
you want to join the #uk meeting on irc next Tuesday and don't already 
use irc, here are some instructions:

CALL-OUT FOR INDYMEDIA UK NETWORK MEETING IN NOVEMBER


There has been talk of another IMC UK network meeting [1] since early
this year, the last one having been the Bristol meeting in spring 2005.

The date for this has repeatedly slipped and so, in this evening's IRC
meeting [2], we agreed to put forward a set of possible dates in
November and ask collectives and individuals to respond as to which are
feasible for them.

The proposed dates are:

    4/5  November
   11/12 November
   18/19 November
   25/26 November


The venue will probably be the Common Place [3] in Leeds.


There will be another IRC organising meeting on Tues 26th September at
8pm, in #uk [4], to which all are welcome and at which a date will
hopefully be finalised. If local collectives and/or individuals can
respond before then with an indication of which weekends are good, we
can try to accommodate as many people as possible (it would be good to
have all the regions represented at least).


Looking forward to meeting all the old and new faces out there...
