There was a free CDs of Ubuntu that would run that Linux on your
computer off the CD. And there was a free CD that would put it on your
computer. And that could not be easier on a clean hard drive.
Connecting to the ADSL might be a bit more tricky. But someone who had
a router configured to connect to the web for windows found that Kubuntu
virtually found its own way across the wires. That was through a
Billion ADSL Router.
