[Imc-cymru] Moving on

I have just sent an email to the list which was intended to be personal.
I'll explain: since it looks like people have been not allowed to
subscribe to this list and instead re-directed to the archives, a few
people have suggested creating a new list where things like this will not
happen, and discussion will concentrate on creating the new website.

People who are prepared to put time and energy on the new project are and
will be invited to the new list, specially welcome those who have lately
tried to subscribed here and were not allowed. The new list is called
imc-wales and it is in the process of being crated, that's why I asked if
the notification had been received.

Just a few answers about the past...

I'm sorry that my question was misunderstood. I was not talking about the
administrators of the past site Indycymru, but about administratos of this
list. But that doesn't matter any more, we're moving on :-)

The application was not even received by the new-imc group - if you look
at the list archives, there is no application there, even though Ilyan
tried recently. I don't know the reasons for this, which must be
technical, but no one else seems to have complained...

Of course not. It just has not been acted upon.

Acting upon it would mean that some one from new-imc would have
volunteered to come and help you. This some one would need to speak your
language and be based nearby - with the current availability of
volunteers, it would have been me by default; you can check these pages:

Then this volunteer would come to this list and explain the whole process
here, guide you through the documentation and the new-imc process. This is
exactly what I have been doing in the past weeks, so there is no need to
wonder what happened to that application

So in practical terms you are exactly where you would be if the
application form had been sent properly.
