[Imc-cymru] imc-cymru list welcome

Hi

I joined this list a while back.  I respect that many people on this list are trying to set up 
indycymru again and I hope that this project is successful.

However, what I wanted to work on was a page for Wales within uk indymedia.  When it became apparent 
that some people on the imc-cymru list didn't want to do this, and were unhappy or suspicious that 
new people had joined the list to work on this project, I set up a separate list and posted a 
message to this list to explain why.  So there are now two lists, imc-cymru (this one) and 
imc-wales, which is working within uk indymedia.  I don't think there is any lack of transparency - 
membership and archives of the list are open to anyone, although the stated purpose of the list is 
to create a regional page for Wales within uk indymedia, so it isn't a place for discussion about 
the pros and cons of this option - it's a place to work on making it happen.

The list includes English people living in Wales (like me) and Welsh people living in Wales and some 
  imc-istas who have offered to help out.  We have Welsh speakers on the list and are looking at 
ways to make the Wales pages bilingual and to encourage people to post to indymedia in Welsh.
