No one aspires to call anything anyhow - usually, it is the people who
are involved in one project who decides how to call that project. So if
anyone wants to change the name, everyone is invited to get involved, go
to whatever meetings are called and propose an alternative.

Having said that - indymedia uk was for a few years run by people in
london mainly, until it was decentralised, and there was no bitterness -
indeed it was the other independent media groups around the country that
encouraged them to name the project "indymedia uk" rather than
"indymedia london".

Again, people who want to get involved in this new indymedia page in
collaboration with indymedia uk should subscribe themselves to the list
