Is it really that innacurate? But let me clarify my reservations. I'll post
them in English so as to be inclusive.

I had no problem with the Indycymru site. I'm a little skeptical around the
reasons for it's demise and given that Ilyan submitted a number of
re-applications for a new site I'm skeptical as to what happened to them. I
think that there is a certain group of people who maybe have a problem with
Ilyan's politics and they have decided to go off and set up another site
which reflects a more "politically correct", left wing view.

This site will be a "regional" site within UK Indymedia, and this probably
reflects the political inclinations of some of it's backers. Well, it's not
my inclination. I'm not a Brit I am a Welsh Republican. If we have so much
poverty of aspiration that we cannot even have an independent welsh media
site then how will we ever be independent as a nation, although obviously
Cymru is obviously too small and insignificant for the lofty
internationalism of some of the posters on this list...

I suspect this "Imc-wales" site will be censored and designed to exclude
those who don't fit into this brit template. You only have to take a look at
UK Indymedia to see that many of those who post up on it are vitriolically
opposed to what they term "narrow welsh nationalism".

I think probably the best bet is for those who want to set up an "Imc-wales"
to get on with it and those of us who want something more independent to get
on with something else. Whatever that may be...

Jim.
