I'm distressed when people impringe on human rights and is taking 
advantage of his position. Its very difficult for me when somebody shows 
irrespect for the work of people who is fighting for the justice. They 
are a shame for the society!

I'm forwarding your letter to the Portland Street Medics - many of our 
colleagues have been active in the anti-imperialist struggle for years, 
and so for all us,  receiving a letter of support from a community 
activist in the Middle East is always a precious occasion to be shared 
widely.

Friends, Maro is a pharmacist (both in conventional and in alternative 
medicine) and an active member of various community organizing efforts 
on the island of Cyprus, a country almost entirely destroyed by US 
weapons a few decades ago which is still under occupation by a foreign 
army just like Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine. People there understand 
very clearly that what happens in the streets of the US, struggles at 
the workplace, in the neighborhood, and in Downtown USA, affect  the 
lives and deaths of millions - millions! - all over the globe.
