Toya has just sent this letter to various global imc working groups, 
including imc finance, communication, process, tech.
Below it is a response I just sent to Toya and to several lists.

Hi,

I am leaving my work at the global indymedia network, which include the
work on this list as well as the moderation work of this list.

I will continue working with imc-brasil and giving support to the
indymedia collectives from america latina. Indymedia Brasil is aware of
my actions and they will probably point out another person to follow
this list if we dont have anyone else from our network in here.

I am removing myself from the list as well from the moderation of it.

I just read with surprise and sadness your announcement to the various
global work groups about leaving. Your presence over the years has been
a stable and dependable point of reference and you were always a key
person acting as a bridge for communication between groups and
individuals. Also, a very good example of efficient and accountable
colleague.
