Hi all,

I write to communicate that a few days ago it was started in the
'imc-communication' list a discussion about organizing around the end of
the year/beginning of 2010 a global meeting - with all the collectives
of the network if possible - to re-organize the network, talk about the
new cms for indymedia, talk about the network, the way things works and
to create proposals of change. It wont be a moment for decisions but for
reflexion of these 10 years of Indymedia, the nowaday facts (media,
internet, laws,politics,etc), listen from other collectives how they are
organized, what they are doing etc. With the intention of planning
actions to make better the function of our network and new ideas of
media services to social movements, collectives and everyone that use
our sites and also ideas to outside the internet.

I suggested it to be on Latin America. This way we wont have problems
with the immigration - which is the situation of us conrads from the
south and any other country that is not part of the UE and USA. Well, I
invite you all to join the discussion at 'imc-communication'and also I
would like to ask if any collective here would like to organize such
meeting. The earlier we start organizing it more chances we have to have
a big number of collectives participating of it.

Also, there is the idea of making video stream of the meeting to those
who can not go. Therefor is important to keep in mind that the hosting
place must have internet connection. Well, there is no more to say, we
are still at the very beginning of the discussion so that is all for now.

Escrebo - perdon el portunol! - para comunicar-l at s que en la lista
'imc-communication' empezo recentimente una discussion sobre organizar
para el fin del ano o el principio de 2010 una reunion global - con
todos los colectivos de la rede se possible - para re-organizar la red,
hablar del nuevo software para indymedia, hablar sobre la red, la forma
de como las cosas funcionan y generar propuestas de cambio. No sera un
momento para tomadas de decisiones pero para reflexiones delles 10 anos
de Indymedia, la conjuntura (midia,internet,leis,politica,etc), escuchar
como otros coletivos estan organizados, que hacen etc. Con la intencion
de planejar acciones para melhorar el funcionamento de la red y novas
ideias de servicos de media  para los movimentos sociales, colectivos y
individuos que utilizan nuestros sitios y tambien para fuera de la web.

Yo sugeri que esta reunion seya en America Latina. Desta forma no tenos
muy problemas con la migra - que es la situacion para nosotros y
otros/as companeiros/as de colectivo del sur y otros paises que no son
de la UE y que no seya los E.E.U.U. Bueno, invito a tod at s para
participar de la discuccion en 'imc-communication' y tambien gostaria de
perguntar se por acaso alguno colectivo tenga ganas de organizar tal
reunion. Lo mas temprano que empezamos organizar eso mas chances teremos
de tener un grand numero de colectivos participando del encuentro.

Tambien hay la ideia de hacer stream de video del encuentro para la
gente que no poder ir. Asi que tenga en mente la question de que el
espacion para las reuniones tiene que tener internet. Bueno, no hay mas
nada todavia estamos empezando la discussion asi que ello es toda la
info por ahora.
