[Imc-dc-tech] Seeking computers for RNC convergence

The following note is from organizers with the RNC
media convergence. Please reply if you can help.

Hi everyone, 

Rine here, from NYC Indymedia.  I am point person for
computer collection and organzing.  (collective
computer repo!) This is the 1st Computer Update.  We
need 50-100 convergence space computers, and we
desperately need Macs for video.  Please email me off
list with the machines and pieces you can bring.  It
would be also good to check out your local craigslist
posting board for parts before you come to NYC- you
can find really cheap monitors there ($5!) and we sure
need 'em.

Additonally, if you know of organizations that
specialize in computer donation, please get the word
out! If you can't, please forward any info to me, and
I can follow up on leads.

COMPUTERS WE NEED:
500 mhz, Pentium 2 or 3 PCs
Macs- newer, the better!

COMPUTER PIECES WE NEED:
ATX cases 
Monitors (can be found at some thrift stores, etc)
Power strips
Power supplies
External drives

I have heard from Boston, Portland, and Rochester
regarding computers so far.
