About W. Brandon Jourdan: William Brandon Jourdan is
an award-winning independent filmmaker, journalist,
and writer. For the past seven years, he has worked on
covering social issues and international politics.  
His projects have covered such broad topics as police
brutality in Miami, Florida to the US-led war in Iraq.
 Recently, Jourdan’s films and journalism has focused
primarily on the Middle East. He worked as a
journalist in Israeli occupied territories of
Palestine in 2002, produced two films on the war in
Iraq, and went to Lebanon following the 2006 Israeli
invasion.  His films have received various awards and
have been shown in both the Museum of Modern Art and
the 2006 Whitney Biennial.   His latest film, July
War,  is set to be released in March 2008.   For more
