Hello everyoneas you all probably know the events of the last six months in Copenhagen have generated a lot of interest abroad as well as in Denmark. The issues of autonomous free spaces under assault and increasing police repression aimed at left wing activists are well known in many countries and are subjects of great international solidarity. Unfortunately a lot of the news from Copenhagen and Denmark in general never seem to get translated, even though there is a definite international interest in reading translated news from here. We are a couple of international and Danish activists who would very much like to help remedy this problem. The idea is to have a section either on Danish or UK indymedia with a regularly updated section with translated news from Denmark in brief. We thought having it as one thread would be nice, since that way it doesn't mess with the newswires. It should be said, that we have ppl willing to do the translating and updating, and would just like to offer the idea, and ask if anyone had any bright idea for the technical side of things? We imagined either having server space on UK dev server and linking it to the DK site or vice versa. A third option would be to have a blog-type thing hosted commercially and then link that, but that from all perspectives seems a distant third on our wish list.Comments, ideas, help, suggestions for solutions would be much appreciated.AugCol
