[Imc-dnc-discuss] Fwd: Have 5 Extra DNC Press Passes

     Hey IMCsters.

     I've just received this e-mail (I took all the
personal info off the message 'cause I want to discuss
the idea first, before contacting the folks who
offered, or spamming them with multiple requests. I'm
sending back a tentative "affirmative" to make sure we
don't loose them, but we need to discuss this as a
collective before we commit ourselves to 5 press
passes that these folks could give out to people who
may use them more than us...

     Do we have any individuals who are interested in
documenting *inside* the fleet center? This could save
us a TON of money when it comes to the IndyMedia, or
ANY independent media, wanting footage of the
convention.
     I'll remind everyone about how much it costs to
purchase corporate "news" footage for a documentary:
$50/second, plus insurance.
     This is the kind of offer that we prolly will NOT
get anywhere else, but we need to know how many
people, and in what capacity they are interested in
helping document the DNC. I assume that they will also
want to share some of our work/footage, and vice
versa.
