[IMC-Docs] Leaving.

Hello,

as (more or less) previously announced [1], I’m leaving the IMC-docs
collective.

For more than two years, this has been the only link I’ve had with
Indymedia, not being part of a local IMC; this link now disappearing,
it’s now time to leave various imc-tech mailing lists as well.

I’ve been happy to learn sysadmin when I was allowed to take over che
and the wiki, early in 2004.

I’ve been happy to try and build with you, and sometimes against the
leading imc-tech dynamics, a great imc-docs collective that would work
in a way that suits us better (details? see "how to build or destroy
collective desire and practice" [2] and "collective sysadmin" [3]).

I’m not motivated in Indymedia anymore, which makes it hard to me to
be motivated in imc-docs. And without great motivation and desires, to
be part of a online collective with remote people is impossible to me.
Or maybe it works the other way.

For about one year, I was supposed to focus on the "newcomers welcome"
topic, skills sharing, and whatever could be done so that I am not
necessary to this collective anymore . I feel mitigated about this: on
one hand, I’ve not been really proactive doing so, and I was mostly
waiting for people to come and ask me help, which did not happen
often; on the other hand, I did not work on kompost at all but it has
been up for 99 days, the wiki does work, people are taking care of it,
so it seems the "I am not necessary anymore" part is kind of
a success. Great.

Please delete my user accounts on the various systems imc-docs is
using (kompost and its VServers, the VServer on satangoss, others?).

I’m going to unsubscribe from imc-*, so I won’t be able to read
potential replies if you don’t Cc: me.
