Personally I find a pity that instead of joining the existing group, you
 decided to diy because there is a lack of energy/people in the current
collective. On the other hand, i find it really nice to see that initiative!

I'm wondering on the same time, can you just move those files to another
twiki install and having it all working like a charm?

I will make the bzipped archive today or tomorrow. I'll wait sending it
until some other people reply too.
