Subject: TWiki newsletter and the announce list

Six weeks ago, we sent out our first TWiki newsletter. We used the TWiki
announce mailing list, previously only used for security alerts and
release news. We made this decision with the provision that if a lot of
people object to this re-use of the announce mailing list, we would
set up a dedicated mailing list.

As it turns out, only 4 out of 1900 people objected (you are one of
them, which is why you receive this email). We therefore decided to
continue sending out the newsletter over the announce mailing list.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

If need be, we advise to set up a mail filter in your MUA. The subject
line of these newsletters will always start with 'Newslettter #'
followed by the sequence number. It is thus easy to filter out the
newsletters.
