Same here. It did sound a bit funny, with the "governance" euphemism
for "retaining some level of authoritarian control", but i didn't check
further.

meaning that the TWIKI.NET stream is probably going to stagnate while
the forked version with the main developer community will take over.

IMHO it's obvious that if/when we (well, i'm 99.99% or so a lurker
here, so to be honest, it's more "you" in reality, sorry...) upgrade,
that we go for NextWiki or whatever it is, in support of the non-(TM)
version.
