unfortunately, this is my analysis too :/ i was discussing this last
night with chrisc and what we will probably arrange to do is, on the
next colo visit, transfer the docs vserver to another machine and then
pull the hardware so that it can be taken away for analysis.

we can also do this for the ircd vserver and the dev vserver, if people
desire.
