Hi gdm,

Ah shit.  Sorry I'm not on my email much these days - norovirus, sick
baby, work deadlines, the lot.

I was part way through building the upgraded site but I'd left it for
a while.  Got stuck with various template and css issues, although the
basic upgrade was fine.  Need to build a script to replace various
files - it was starting to get fiddly.

Was going to ask for more disk space and a daily update from the live
site.  I guess the copy I was working on is also on the dead vserver,
and no more up to date that the september backup?

I do have some space on the bristol server.  I would love to run a
mirror of the docs site if I can get a dump and a daily rsync going.

Anyway - what's the latest - can we recover?  I can't help with those
errors but can you boot off a knoppix cd or anything and read the
disk?

I'd be happy to help diff and recover the data if I can get access or
a copy of the stuff.
