Hi,

Drupal offers two great options that unfortunately collide...

1) you can allow authorized users to edit or update their postings. same
as collectives sometimes update their features

2) you can allow people to translate all postings.

but this means that it can happen that an article or feature is changed
_after_ it had been translated, so the translation is not correct anymore.

I suppose it should be possible to compare the date the original article
(1. node) was modified with the date of the translation (2. node), and
in case the date of the original is later then the translation, flag the
translation with a warning sentence "The original article has been
modified after this translation was done."

However... I don't know any php or how to write Drupal modules, so I
would be happy if somebody else would be interested in doing that.
(I'm sure there is need for that on other Drupal sites as well :)
