I just sent this from my Cbusimc.org e-mail addy which I guess isn't a member of this list so I'm
reposting it from this e-mail addy.

Hi,
 this is Robbt with Columbus Indymedia in Ohio.
We are a part of the IMC network and are waiting
to get listed on the Cities list, but we are
currently hosted on a VPS(virtual private
server) physically located in France rather than
on IMC controlled hardware and I wanted to know
if it were possible for someone within the
network to offer us hosting.

We were going to be hosted by SF but somehow
communication fell apart and I was unable to get
them to allow .htaccess so that the mod_rewrite
would work with Drupal and so I just moved it
onto a server that I'm leasing part of.

We are using Drupal 4.7 which was recently
released as stable and a bunch of contributed
modules. I'm also working with the
IMC-Drupal-Dev group to set-up a recipe/distro
for IMC sites to use drupal.

If anyone can offer us decent hosting with good
bandwidth, we try and host most of our videos
and stuff on ourmedia.org/archive.org because we
have to pay for the bandwidth and have no real
budget and a pretty small non-technically
inclined collective.

I really only want hosting if someone can offer
regular dialogue and support/responses on a
stable linux box with Php & MySQL, I host our
mailserver elsewhere so that's all we'd need.
